Then, after you discover it’s gone, they can only track it if it’s still within radio range of a specially equipped police vehicle.

GPS2000 notifies you immediately by phone or pager if your vehicle is stolen. Then, you can track the stolen vehicle from the Internet or any phone. If you activate the Carjack Mode, GPS2000 commands the vehicle to immobilize the starter and continually sound the horn or siren. You may also choose to silently track the vehicle, allowing law enforcement to follow the vehicle without warning and apprehend the thief in possession of the stolen vehicle.

How the GPS2000 Works:
GPS2000 uses sophisticated technology to create a system that is easy to understand and operate. The heart of GPS2000 is a Global Positioning System receiver combined with a cellular radio modem. This module is installed in the vehicle where it is not accessible to a car thief. The GPS receiver uses the worldwide GPS satellite network to determine the vehicle’s exact location, and the cellular modem sends and receives information. The GPS2000 control center links you via phone or the Internet to track and control your vehicle.
